"Gravity" by A Perfect Circle

Lost again
Broken and weary
Unable to find my way
Tail in hand
Dizzy and clearly unable to just let this go

I am surrendering to the gravity and the unknown
Catch me
Heal me
Lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live

I fell again like a baby
Unable to stand on my own
Tail in hand
Dizzy and clearly unable to just let this go

High and surrendering to the gravity and the unknown
Catch me
Heal me
Lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live
I choose to live
I choose to live

Catch me
Heal me
Lift me back up to the sun
Help me survive the bottom

Calm these hands before they snare another pill and drive another nail down another needy hole
Please release me

I am surrendering to the gravity and the unknown
Catch me
Heal me
Lift me back up to the sun
I choose to live
I choose to live

Kenshin's perspective while knowing Tomoe.

Kenshin is a lost youth, and unable to go his own way, only obeying to others.
But then he meets Tomoe and surrenders to her comfort, in which he realizes he should not only direct hate against himself, and that to become happy, he needs a life, and should just do what makes him happy, he tells Tomoe he wants to spend his life with her, he chooses to live.

He is like a baby, unsure of his own desires, but as he meets Tomoe, he gets a grip of what it means to surrender to your own desires.

Tomoe, his sheath, has the ability to calm his hands before he self-mutilates himself again; because every time Kenshin kills, a little bit of himself is harmed as well.
Tomoe releases Kenshin's true self, a young man of a lovable nature.
